Tricky Threat 2023 Contest

The night of nights lies ahead of us, brothers and sisters in arms.
For one day only the line between the mysteries of the universe and the so-called "Consensus Reality" will blur. A rare opportunity where our adversaries will be unable to tell their side of the veil apart from ours and act without hiding.

We must seize the moment when the boundaries between the worlds is thinest. You have one month to prepare to trick and treat.

Welcome to the 2023 Tricky Threat contest. This year's take on our biannual Halloween contest will be focused on the treats that are to be gained from the event.

Submissions will be listed here once the contest opens.

Rules:

Duration:
Posting opens Sun, the 1st of October 2023 at 0:01 UTC and ends the whole month until 23:59 UTC of the 31th. Voting ends two weeks later, the 14th of November.

Participation:
Collaborations are welcome, but each author may not participate with more than one article. Pre-existing drafts are allowed, as long as they are no rewrites. All formats of Insurgency related fiction are allowed if they are reasonably connected to the contest theme. All entries must be tagged with tricky-threat23.

Fair Play:
No systematic advertising, no self-voting, no downvoting of the competition, no substantial edits. We never needed this rule in the past, so let's keep it that way.

Deletion:
The right to self-deleted is suspended for entries until the voting period ends.
