Usage

Humans are in widespread use all over the Insurgency with estimates suggesting that 87% of permanent Insurgency installations make use of humans. Their low intelligence, comparatively quick reproductive cycle, versatile diet, and vulnerability makes them easy to control and maintain. Exact methods for save, long term storage differ between installations.

Local administrators should at least consider providing a few of the below mentioned points in order to keep the human population healthy and obedient.

  • access to open areas
  • access to regular meals
  • access to clean water
  • access to a mate * access to clean and quiet dwellings

Humans are social creatures and will form an internal hierarchy if left alone. Infighting over reproductive rights and personal status is to be expected. Some facilities capitalize on this by raising young males for gladiatorial battle and similar bloodsport. However, their use as general combatants is limited due to their fragile physiology. Programs to modify the human genome for higher combat effectiveness are currently under consideration.

The human creates a large thaumaturgical spike when sacrificed, allowing the insurgency to perform powerful rits on a semi consistent schedule. Lower demonic entities are easily appeased by a sizable offering of human blood. The homo sapiens produces greater sacrificial yields than primates or comparative galliformes. Conventional factors that influence sacrificial yield such as the sum total of experienced emotions, a will to life, and the capacity to feel pain still apply to the human.

Human cadavers are processed for their meat, as human meat is popular and in high demand all across the insurgency. Thigh, chest and arm tissue are especially sought after. Local culinary customs influence the way the meat is prepared and served. (See Appendix A) Undedibale parts, like bones and various organs can be grinded up and fed to the other Humans.

Report

The Human, alternatively referred to as homo sapiens sapiens, is not a Human in the conventional sense. The Human is a kind of cryptid that possesses a cognitohazardus effect that only allows a conscious organism to refer to them as human or with words that are synonymous with human. Otherwise, they are harmless.

The Humans were acquired during the raid on the β€œCarnavora” meat packing plant.

These featherless bipeds stand at an average of 1.8 meters. Prominent physical characteristics include, a red to pink skin color, a hunched walk, a disproportionately large torso, a double curved spine, and a beak. Mature humans are completely naked with the exception of a comb that is significantly more developed in male specimens. Adult instances weigh on average 52 kilograms while newborns weigh around 3 kg.

Their lifecycle is almost identical to that of a comparative animal, only diverging by significantly accelerated growth. Human females give birth roughly once per day. If the mother was unfertilized, she will give birth to a non-anomalous domesticated chicken.
