Usage
As per the Agony Agreement, no attempts must be made to interfere with the Item. All attempts to disarm the Item will result in immediate termination of all involved parties by the White Rabbit Project.
All maintenance must be performed under on-site SCHEMA supervision; however, no planned maintenance is scheduled for the next 4 224 998 years.

The Free Thinker's Snare is a downwards facing pyramid of lunar regolith anomalously suspended above the lunar surface. It acts as base area for the following Sub-Items:
- SBI-FTTRAP-001 - "Ashen Crest": A circle of 24 megaliths spaced 480 meters from the centre of the pyramid which posses extremely strong antimemetic properties. Their purpose is primarily containing Sub-Item-004, and secondarily concealing the Free Thinker's Snare from hostile attention. Three further megaliths are known to exist, with many more suspected to be found in Earth's oceans.
- SBI-FTTRAP-002 - "Katabasis Reactor": A low-power energy source that also acts as source for truly non-deterministic and timeline-independent randomness. Can not be safely turned off, because it is fueled by eternity.
- SBI-FTTRAP-003 - "Cheshire Whiskers": An array of splinters of the corallite skeleton of a now extinct Scleractinia species, suspended in magnetic resonance. The Sub-Item acts as a hyper fine-tuned Mandela Canary to detect changes to the timeline.
- SBI-FTTRAP-004 - [No Designation Given]: An infohazard.
- SBI-FTTRAP-005 - "Eminence Emitter": A piece of nanotechnology capable of rapidly replicating Sub-Item-004 and spreading it around the Earth-Moon system. Antistatic treatment is required before handling as particles easily stick to charged surfaces.
A rudimentary shack to shelter SBI-003 was constructed near SBI-002 in the centre of the Item. Multiple artificial tunnels hold an initial supply of 50 cubic hectometres of SBI-005.
The Free Thinker's Snare is designed to combat the "Nachgewahren" type phenomenon: cross-timeline pollution caused by entities detached or partially detached from normal temporal effects, allowing them to have non-causal memories of events from discarded timelines. This is a direct violation of the Agony Agreement and must be eradicated with all means possible.
For this purpose, the Free Thinker's Snare was constructed to detect temporal backsliding, and upon registering such an event, generate a random 32-bit integer. Should the generated number be 0x00000000, it will execute the "Snake Eyes" routine and release all of its SBI-004-carrying SBI-005. The process should interfuse the entirety of Earth's Hill sphere in approximately 15 hours and thus irrevocably expose all sentiences without special countermeasures to SBI-004.
This will effectively end all civilization and therefore force the Vaults to discard the current timeline in accordance with the Agony Agreement to before the Free Thinker's Snare activation.
