Usage:
Human substitute showed itself as a great way to cut off human personnel loss in military conflicts. Item is being used as a replacement of human resources in such operations as:
- Abnormal entities capture operation
- Facility raid
- Personnel evacuation
- Facility protection in case of attack
- military operation that requires much firepower, but not total destruction.
Because of incredible sharpshooting skills, which were discovered during "SCP-939" capture operation, from that moment every Human substitute unit gets the same gear set as others:
- M4 assault rifle with 6 additional magazines. No firearm attachments needed.
- Tactical Backpack "Responder".
- Appropriate camouflage clothing "Prozit".
- CIV 213 Tactical vest.
Additional or special requested gear, firearms and any items are considered.
Handling precautions:
During the Human Substitute squad creation procedure, any Chaos Insurgency personnel are prohibited from such actions as:
- Mentioning any organization whose activities are related to anomalies.
- Mentioning any failures or possible shortcomings of the Chaos Insurgency.
- Approach the C.O.R.E. closer than 6 metres.
Immediately after the creation procedure completion, a responsible person must say the command phrase:
You are fighting for the Empire of the Chaos Insurgency. Anyone who does not consider himself a member or a friend of the Chaos Insurgency must be killed or captured!
After that, a responsible person is obligated to state their mission and purpose. The command phrase must be pronounced loudly, clearly, and without any mistakes.
If everything is done correctly, the squad should shout out the answer:
Long live the Emperor of the Chaos Insurgency!
This will mean that the procedure has been completed successfully. After that, each unit is assigned a serial number:
HS-[SERIALNUMBER]
No special handling precautions are required when the squad is in the task area.
Description:
Human substitute is an abnormal dark-coloured substance with properties, similar to oil. The only possible use that was discovered is a special procedure in the C.O.R.E.* which turns item from liquid to solid state. Procedure takes around 15 minutes to be completed. Results after procedures are 12-15 human like dark statues 2,1-2,3 metres high and 0,8-0,9 metres wide. Statues all "come to life" immediately after production. Statues do not have any faces, marks or differences. Units have got extremely short life span - 10 hours only. After 10 hours item falls apart and dies. To make squad transportation easier, C.O.R.E. is often moved closer to the area of conflict, so Human substitute copies can last longer in service.
In solid state item is very strong and hard to break. There was a report when an enemy tank tried to shoot down one unit, but even without both legs and right arm, item still tried to continue fight.
Units can speak plain English, what is enough to tell important information and follow necessary protocols.
Absolute loyalty is always shown by Human Substitute units. Never before have Human Substitute units attempted to leave or betray their superiors.

The item was first discovered on ███████████ in ██████████, Republic of Sierra Leone when an African PMC "Diallo Company" confused the Human Substitute with an oil and then tried to exchange it for ammunition and military equipment. The IRUC team, which was then on site for the reason of [REDACTED] quickly discovered physical and chemical properties unnatural for oil. Several questions were asked to the "Diallo Company", but the PMC refused to answer any of them. The Chaos Insurgency High Command has put forward a solution for the immediate search and capture of the source. To track the location of the source of the abnormal substance, the Item Acquisition Squad "Highlanders", known for its effectiveness in mountainous areas was called. A month later, the group successfully located item's source site. On ███████████ location was successfully captured by the forces of the Chaos Insurgency.
After some research, special anomalous compounds were found in the structure of the object, which have not yet been documented.

Item shows great capabilities of withstanding extremely high and low temperatures both. Item units do not react to any existing acid, gas or any other hazardous substance. Units do not react to high amounts of radiation.
