Hey,
First, your tree glitches out the recent post page,
in other words, tell me how you did that.
Next, i was working on a Christmas thing myself, but "Marley" will not reach its item state of evolution before the 25th.
Also, all references to the CI might be a bit dated by now (if you stick to canon materials and exclude the RL members).
Get yourself a base story that has Christmas as the core and than plaster CI all over it or get a CI story and plaster Christmas onto it.
The "learn to love Christmas" plot line or the "Wired things are happening , where is the anomaly?" line would lend themself to that approach.
I would not centre this around high stake areas like a CI or Foundation base. If a conflict arises there the Christmas aspect would completely get lost in all the shouting shooting and mind erasing. Take a civilian facility, like a police or train station or a place of gathering like a mall. Even if everyone there has the worst Christmas ever, it would not rip the world apparat.
I would also stay away from the "the World/Christmas is in danger" storyline, where a bunch of references could lead to a phenomenon were the reader might want to get ride of the references to get to the "real" plot.
But this is just my spin on it (Washing machines and toasters, aka to little information for a washing machine repair, but not out of ideas).
