made an object for a contest and I'm going to add it to the file (adding an object to base 4) if thats a no-no someone who knows that can delete it but just in case it is ok I'm putting it up there (also an object to Base Six)
Ehh…. Seems okay to me your addition to the list. So yeah great!
Former CI Wiki Administrator Now just CI Wiki member: | Tuum Est: It's up to you
Base Five seems unrealistic to posses only one item, and it's a wooden coffin, not something hard to contain like a Godzilla. You see, the number of items don't match up at all to our arsenal list, so it would be better if this list is focused on mainly what are the sites instead of where the items are.

So I'm new so I don't completely understand everything about the CI, so please slap me if this is a stupid question. I don't see the difference between these storage areas. It would really help if under each one there would be a description such as…
Area-12 is a containment and research facility located on remote federal land in the Midwestern United States. Area-12 contains both live specimens of anomalous biological entities as well as samples of biohazardous or otherwise dangerous biological anomalies for study. Objects contained at this facility include: SCP-143, SCP-153, SCP-214, SCP-811, SCP-939

Which one houses humanoids? Aquatic creatures? Bio-hazardous junk?
Sorry if this was a stupid question and if I'm not on the right page to be looking for this.

Really though, we have no specific classification of the types of sites here. In my headcanon, bases are the more central sites of the CI, where strategic decisions were made, storing anomalous items that are regularly utilized by the Insurgency. Facilities generally have a smaller strategic roles, and are much more specialized in research and development. As for cells, I am unsure. I am guessing that they are highly-secured research facilities specialized for specific type of anomalous items. If you are planning on creating a more specialized site, I suggest you to just put its specification in its name, like "Naval Base" for naval facilities or "Armed Cell" for heavily-guarded sites.

Note: Imagine this cell as a club of hobby scientists, with are only in the insurgency because they said so and have contact to a insurgency member with delta clearance.
By hobby scientist… what do you mean? I consider microbiology a hobby of mine, but I have extremely high doubts that I could simply waltz into the Insurgency and demand access to a "club" that is using secret anomalous technology to take over the world, simply because my homie has Delta clearance. It seems a little ridiculous, but that may be just me.

That is the whole point of the thing. It's not really a part of the insurgency and they are only a cell (the cell is the club) because they want to be in. I have posted on this in the
Personnel Designations Discussion,
because i'm not sure where to put these guys.
If they are indeed a cell then one of them has Alpha Designation,
but the cell would be to small (15 man) to even care about.

The idea of Site Zeta's staff has always irked me. Especially this part:
"Imagine this cell as a club of hobby scientists, with are only in the insurgency because they said so and have contact to a insurgency member with delta clearance."
I'd just like to point out that the Chaos Insurgency hires personnel for skill and experience in certain scientific/real-world environments, not because someone happened to be lucky/unlucky enough to be involved with an anomalous object somehow. When an incident occurs that involves members of the public, the Chaos Insurgency (and the SCP Foundation) M.O. is usually "amnestic everyone who's not project-affiliated and let them go back to living their normal lives to avoid possible disaster/information leaks". This may just be me, but I feel like the Zeta personnel shouldn't be hired just because they feel like it.

I, and the Zeta Cell work under the Wintergreen protocol, no choosen once, no entrance barriea. If we let elits take the lead they are going to keep thinks down.

I stared Zeta as weak, but they are possibly strong enough to turn the tables.
I would recoment this for better understanding. (Its not yet proofread.)

Yes, I get understand that much, but how they managed to learn about the Insurgency in the first place is what is confusing to me. I've always pictured it that if someone has expressed a significant amount of experience in a particular field of study that the Insurgency is attracted to, they arrange a highly secret meeting in attempt to hire said person.
Actually, I'd be highly interested in reading a tale about someone's (maybe an alpha's) first experiences with the Insurgency. We always hear about characters who have been in the Insurgency for many years, but I think it'd be cool to read about a well recognized character's recruitment.

@Cyto: Martin Caduceus could possible be lunch table buddies with someone you can write up. Interested?

@Meta: I'm afraid this can't be the case. Every job, no matter how guerrilla, needs personnel which are at least competent for duty. There will always be qualifications. The Insurgency needs to be careful; not picking up anyone who simply wants in.
You've also pushed for the 'anti-elitist' theme in the CI for a while now. I don't find anything wrong with writing about it, but right now, it is stupid. Leadership, power structure and, if required, authoritative rule of a group is crucial for a group's success and coordination.
Unless you can pose some excellent argument for having to make your (already unrealistic) club against the CI's leaders, which I doubt is possible now, I am removing the Zeta Cell entry from the list for the time being.

I have removed Zeta from the list.
The idea was a part of the Insurgency working like the Maxwellism in the church of the broken god.
The idea being an open source Insurgency for anyone and only somewhat connected to the main Insurgency body.
What could provoce more chaos then letting everyone do there thing, for the Chaos Insurgency?
I will follow there story with the following two thinks in mind:
-They think they are part of the Insurgency and will continue to call themself as such,
but they really are a GOI.
-They are spreading much faster and are far less coordinated and therefor less succesful in there doing.
If that sounds about right I will make an entry in the GOI site for them.
(But where do i put there items, they have and use if not the main arsenal,
if a second arsenal page (for items not really in Insurgency possession) is out of question?)

Just went throw previews versions of this page and i found a lot of places i never heard of.
What happened to them, in and out of universe?
When i try to rebuild this place i might bring some of them back.
These bases where once there, filled with assets, human or otherwise, so where are they now?
The GOC can only handle so much.
Seeing as i talk to the Void expecting an answer, there might still be someone in the black shadows knowing the answers i seek.

I was wondering, could we at least redesign the pages that aren't locked, right?

La bonne nouvelle c'est que j'en ai rien à foutre

I just published a page, and I wanted to add it to this list, as well as a new base, but the page is locked. I was just curious as to why, and if a staff member is the only one who can add at the moment, then here's the info:
Research Storage Facility Xi-09
Total items in storage: [17]
Item(s) documented: Analiana Matos
Status: All items accounted for
Let me know if there's anything I'm missing! Thanks!
