Your fault.

How do you use the item? How do you activate it, if applicable? What safety measure do you have to do? What are the potential uses of the item?
The Usage portion should describe how we use the item, how careful we should be, how to take care of it, etc.
What is the item? What does it look like? What's the size? What does it do? Is there something we should be aware of? What are its anomalous properties? How'd we find it? When? How do we store the item safely? How do we protect it?
The Report portion should describe the item, provide the protocols for storing it, etc.
Has this been posted to the right place?
Why would you answer a post that is more than a year old, that was already in the wrong place to begin with, with a full copy of an Item format?
How did this happen?
Fighting Monsters and Language since 2016.
I'd like to request a change in the box at the top of items. We don't really need "Usage Precautions" or "handling precautions," we can just put that in the actual usage section.
Victor Strate | "If you ever get in a gunfight with somebody, just make sure to keep aiming for his groin until you've hit it at least once. That way, even if you lose your life in the fight, that bastard'll never breed."
Could you show us an example of what you mean on FV? Maybe than we can get a better idea of what we need to change.

Oh cool, you have the yellow bar now. The Usage and Handling Precautions was conceptualized with this Zyn-quote in mind (not paraphrasing): put straightforward statistics and precautions at the top
If you have any suggestions, post them on FV, since it isn't set in stone yet.

I'll see if I can cook up a substitute then, and post it on FV when I have it. And the yellow bar is probably from the ridiculous amounts of work I put into the Spatial Displacement Device and the Tea War on my wiki, over multiple edits.

I generally like the Usage/Handling things (i cooked them up, of course :p), but remember that an item report format for the CI is never set in stone. And that's what I like about it. We're free to change it to our liking as long as it still resembles a report.

Can somebody do the edit now that the new infobox is up?

I like the new tabview design. Who made it? It's like we're raising standards every week here, good, good job.
DrCaduceus changed the CSS coding for the tabs. He's a whiz here at this. I don't know how he does it but he does it. If you think that is all, check out our Personnel Designations page.

…………..wow, ………….. uh, that's a lot of ovals.
I'm happy to hear so! I want to bring the guidebook up to date as it hasn't been touched in a long time, and I think there's a lot more that it can teach to our members.
Carry on, citizen. Haos bless.
just realized that the discuss page for the scp wiki main page has 12 comments… I just broke it sorry :/
Not sure what page you are even referring to. If it was this page aka this command that's fine too.
Don't worry, people who assign meanings to "the number of comments a page has" are a rare sight.
Also tip with the hat to you for actually reading our guide. The amounts of time that someone writes about the Delta Command have made it clear that most new members don't read them.
Also since i could not find you introduce yourself threat i am just going to do it here:
Welcome to the Chaos Insurgency.
Fighting Monsters and Language since 2016.
Tone reform? Looks great.
OTT Containment lifted? That might cause some problems.
"Colors of the Moon" back on the menu? You what? I can just imagine what the guy who gets a "colors of the moon" report must think before ordering his team to deploy the anomaly.
Reality Benders of the List? Now that is something I can get behind into arranged.
Sad to see the last reference to the "Mini-gun Bear" go. Salutes "Mini-gun Bear"

Once you have your item ready, you may post it by making a new page, putting it there, and adding the item's nickname at the Item Arsenal page, under Retrieved, Stolen, Theoretical or Uncontained, depending on what you plan for it.
Is it still up to date?
Gruss

Clearly not. Fixed it to below:
You can use the snippet below to fit the Item Arsenal list. Just input you page's link, and a name in the blanks, and paste the snippet below the other entries.
Thanks a lot!
