Well 3 years since the last major edit is a long time.
What I do not get is why those edits were not first done in the sandbox and than implemented after a quick "Hey, I am the author, this is what I am doing." But since Cad OK-ed this in 2016 we might want to look into putting a cap on how long one word agreements should be binding. I mean, I liked the original well enough.
The item was severely nerved with the new access times, insurgence are no longer awarded there (rightfully earned) 50/50 cut for being possibly experimented on by aliens and the reported proficiency in our item retrieval also went down, from a clean getaway to a scramble.
I can see why one would make these changes, but I actually liked the original better.
