I've always liked this and its concept. Could use a few polishes, but still a definite +1.

As previously said, this concept is awesome, especially the defective masks. This article overall has no glaring problems, but it can use some tone corrections. Another thing it could have done better is to show more information regarding 014-1. I vote for some editing and minor "redemption".

I find this report to be sufficiently interesting: Keep as is.
Rewrite. It's a decent idea, but I feel that it could be done in a much better way that would require a complete reorganization of the article.
