Because the mafia totally directly buys pharmacuticals in Florida, and not rich old people by doing prescription fraud. In addition, the mafia is not really a thing in Florida. Additionally additionally, "mafia gangs" sounds awkward.

Only one of those things would realistically be smuggled to Florida, and none are prescription drugs people abuse. Something like oxycodine would have been more realistic, and even then people don't smuggle prescription pharmacudicals, they commit fraud to get their fix.
Aside from the factual errors, this was very boring.

Look at this from the target's perspective: You're walking into your office, say hello to your secretary, and opening the door, you see a letter on your desk. When you open it, there's nothing there except some ashes. Confused, you close it and throw it away, only for a scary ass angel to appear later and ass-rape you with a flaming sword. VERY effective.
