Fascinating.
Their Founding mythos actually makes them betrayers and the "good guys". If I read this correctly O5-1 is secretly an Insurgent but has to maintain cover. He is also just some guy (which I find endearing).

The question than remains: What was up with the "Kingdom of Abaddon"? If they needed to justify the project it would have been easier to just aim at an established target, say the "Church of the broken God". Why invent an enemy if there is already a valid target?

Depending on the reading the Kingdom might actually be a coverup for early Insurgency operations.

As mentioned in the Credit, this is based on djkaktus' Ouroboros Cycle, which is a SCP-001 proposal of his, and so much more. It's also absurdly long, even for djkaktus standards (who is the only non-french SCP author I can name who has bigger issues with brevity with me) and I have therefore not read it.

Anyhow, I also like this. Probably not as the founding mythos, but a founding mythos. Let there be just as many pasts as there are futures.

Well, everyone might have a different starting point, like rivers that flow together or it is a case of organizations that have nothing in common being labeled by the SCPF as one and the same group (American Indians come to mind).

As always I will ignore SCP material. On that note, my questions still stand, but will probably not get a response from the author. Therefor I am free to fill all gaps in knowledge with god a conspiracy by the In-Universe actors.
