If I'm allowed to crit the Hub Page:

• I'd put the welcome message as the page title, instead of "Hub Hell-O-When21"
• Rules could be put into a separate collapsible
• Write a bit of introduction/flavour text, perhaps also explaining our motivation behind it. You could draw from the announcement, if necessary.
• Needs more public domain Halloween SVGs. Or any other sort of appropriate decoration, really.

A'ight, should have started with this yesterday; I didn't saw your reply in the Recent Comments. (If Wikidot is a screwdriver according to your analogy, it's the one made out of toe nails from Edna & Harvey: The Breakout)

Also, I might extend/shift everything by a couple of days - as we have noticeably started this after the 22nd.

Well, this is a first. Saying you would run and than not showing up.
Two cannon shots for the people that were brave enough to set out to race, but never crossed the finish-line:

LasNeonach (I saw you run, I saw you pull back, why would you do that?)

Scratch that, was it on the Site when you edited the hub? If so, self-deletion is actually against the rules. Can anyone confirm whether this contest entry was here on file or not? (Timestamp says that there were 2 hours still on the clock when the hub was edited (UTC and all that)).

Basssically I got late by like a 1 minute, got stressed and made a lot of mistakes. I do have my entry on my sandbox.

As I said, timestamp said that you were in time.

The second box is showing things tagged with the contests tag, so just tagging your entry would have done the trick.

Your scorched earth tactic only failed because your edit on the hub is actually timestamped in your profile under recent changes. The stamp shows up in local time for the user that views it, so for me it looks like you made the hub edit 23:59:31 German time, but Germany currently is two hours ahead of UTC so your post was at 21:59 UTC. I was able to reconstruct your entry from your partly deleted sandbox.

Do you still want to compete? If so, I would allow the restoration of it since it was posted in time and deletion was therefor against the rules anyway.

Tomorrow the contest will be over. We will tally the votes and announce the Winner on the front-page.
If you still want to vote, you have about 8 hours left to do so.

Rule Addition: The votes will be counted at the same time and judged as such, but I will not stay awake until 02:00 local time to count the votes when the voting is supposed to close. I will not tell you when I will count the votes.
