Hmm, I though it was clear enough I had yet another episode when I suggested we all should dress up as catgirls…
I think I have elaborated on the pros and cons of deadlines already; I enjoy the competition, but time pressure is meh. There should be some sort of dueling system where you can gather the tears of defeated enemies for bragging rights. (Except that'd things would be incredibly unbalanced, anyway.)
Things are happening in the background; during the festive season, many things change; some people preoccupied with actually contributing to society in a useful way will find themselves with some free time at their hands all of a sudden, whereas other people will realize that "video games" and "discount" form a compound detrimental to their social life.
When it comes to series, I don't meant the concept of tale series, but the way they are referign to the X000 to X999 (or X00 to X99 for smaller projects) ranges in their neatly numerically sorted articles, which roughly equates to the date of writing. E.g. there are great tonal, stylistic, qualitative and thematic differences between your average SCP from the early inception of the site compared to one writen in 2016 or one written just recently. ("WTF" in this case was a "When then fuck".) Without knowing our site's lore in and out, it's really hard to tell where to place individual articles.
Having something like themed seasons (perhaps even with tags) might help… or make everything worse.
The bloody scraps of the guide were dumped in a freezer in the backyard. Guide was aborted after I realized I can't write an instructive article in the style of a scientific paper that begins with outlining various working definitions. All that remains are individual lines, with the shared property of all my notes of being virtually indecipherable to anyone else. Ironically, I could probably do a better job explaining everything in a forum post than put any effort into it.
Great thing about the Vaults is that their explicit purpose is to co-exist and handwave away any inconsistencies as different timelines and permutations of the same Insurgency.
EDIT: Smart me just realized I initally replied to the wrong post and these nest incorrectly now. And of course, WD offers no way to move these. Great.
