Hello! As the admins prolly know already, I'm a 15 y/o from Eurasia, more specifically the SEA. While I have some ideas that I regard to be interesting, I feel that I am blocked in coding. I can't seen to understand anything about the codes in writing articles, so I hope you all can be of guidance. I will have many questions. Thank you. *bows*

There are some good coding guides scattered across wikidot, but for basic writing purposes the tidbits listed in the personal guidebook are a good place to start

To get that quote bar you first need to go to the "My account" in the top right corner beside your name. You then want to go down to settings. After that, the page you are presented with should have a tab for a forum signature. Click that and the rest should be self explanatory. The only thing rank related here is the karma level (aka activeness), but nothing is locked just because you have a low one

Don't be afraid of Wikidot's syntax - it can look daunting at first, but that is only if you want to do anything fancy and out of the ordinary (like animations), if you just want to write normal articles, it is as easy as copying the Item Report Template from the Sandbox page and filling in the details.

If you need any direct help, feel free to ask our Discord Community for help. It's usually easier to have a quick chat then messagign back and forth in a forum.

Welcome to the Insurgency Recruit. Cafeteria to your right, shooting range the other side, showers just down this hallway and don't forget to drop off your eyes at the ward when entering the quarantie zone.

1. Thank you. I've just recieved info from a friend about how you can write from your cellphone which makes it even easier for me. I'll make sure to contact you if I have issues.

I, too, welcome you to the Insurgency.

Actively posting in the forums might be slower than discord, but it is more permanent. Certain things should be recorded. In a global operation it is important to have a means of timezone independent communication.

I have not dabbled in wikidot syntax for a while, but I might still be able to help you, if you so wish.

If you want to start items-creation I can warmly recommend the guide I have written on the subject.
