*yaaaawn* Gee, I'm pretty sleepy. I sure hope to get spooky dreams with the hour or two I have before daylight. It wasn't supposed to take me this long to write the contest information but semestral break had me in the mood for binging anime and I may have been carried away.

I can assure you that this isn't a dream nor a phantasm of lingering All Saints' Day forces. This is a Chaos Insurgency Wiki contest in the flesh and I'm looking for everyone's entries over the next fourteen days. Any questions, leave them here.

I hope you guys have a fun adventure with this one.

It is time for me to leave.

Perhaps you are wondering if I can say hello to everyone else? Take care of our childhood memories, Clarice. It was my wish to have been able to attend your graduation. But, alas, the presence of dear old Information withheld by Command Law 50 made that impossible. Your friends at the [CENSORED] and I do not have a history of fellowship. Though I cannot deny they enjoyed my company for more than eight years, my enjoyment was not comparable as the accommodations were less than desirable. A change of scenery was needed. Do excuse me for that. Though the hell hardships in which I was forced to endure made the other 364 days of the year difficult, I have enjoyed our nights immensely. If you have find yourself missing me in any way, accept my apologies. I have but one opportunity. Again, dearest Clarice, forgive me.

I was waiting on feedback, but since it has not arrived, i have posted my tale now.

May this be the wake up call. I hope that others will follow my example. I hate empty stages. So come you spirits. Show me what you got. Good luck.

Sadly i wont go for the bonus points as this was more an exercise in "after-death-rational" than in emotion for me. I hope you enjoy.

Congratulations to the two members who participated in this contest, you gave us two very good stories that must have made cad cry. For my part I would have liked to participate but the constant lack of time I have prevented me from doing so because I am also working on the publication of a novel that will soon arrive, in short well done to all those who participated.

I’m so flattered! :D I originally planned to make a scarier Tale until I came up with the idea to just make it wholesome. I didn’t expect anyone to cry but if you did… oopsie? I just wanted to write something that’d make people feel good. Thanks for enjoying!

The wholesomeness of the story was central to why I liked it so much. I love how mild and okay the two characters are. It reminds me of a slice-of-life anime that I'd definitely watch.

Of course, the little details like "imprint sickness" and "Count Oscilloscopula" help give it the quirkiness that hits the right spot.
