I am someone who has a political opinion.
I do not talk about my political opinion since in the current political climate (of the USA and Germany as these are the ones i am familiar with) everything is in some way wrong to say or believe.
Personally i have nothing against a conversation about politics, i think more conversations should be encouraged. Sadly these conversations have a pretty high chance of backfiring.
I came to that realization when i replied to a political statement with a political joke.
Politics, to me, are a highly interesting topic worth discussing, but i also know its potential to hurt someone. The forming of "Political bubbles" is the consequence.
I will pose this question here:
Is this a Pandora's Box we wish to open?
Unbinding Cosmic Horror vs Knowing what's in the box.
The Insurgent in me would open the box without a second thought.
The author that keeps a close eye on the global situation, would rather ask before opening something that could be a active, motion triggered landmine.
