a place to discuss how the minor cells of the CI will be organized, etc.

A while back it was mentioned that the CI is a bunch of decentralized cells working together.

I would like to make the first foray into this area by suggesting at least the logo for the SF cell of the CI

Here is the logo I drafted:

This would be better if we knew how to get the image quality up. It seems good enough, although it's not what I had in mind (I wanted every logo to be different). Also I advise getting rid of that background (Nouva, can you do the same on the real logo?) and the hexagon. Also, what's SF?

The hexagon represents the six operating bases in the SF bay area (codenamed Tau-Ceti outposts 1-6) (I'd like it to stay, but that's just me.)

As far as logo variety goes, I'd be fine redoing this as long as there is one or so parts of the original logo to show the fact that the cell is part of the whole

Well, what should I do? You already said bring the quality up, but I want to know if there's anything else I can do.
Also, yes, I was just lurking, since I've been slightly more busy than usual lately.

Are the characters all part of this particular cell? Are we going to be exploring other ones? And are the bases connected to any particular cell?

This is completely not an official canon, so it's up to you. With my headcanon, these cells don't even exist. The CI is too small for that. But, again, this is all based off of my own headcanon. You could have your own with everything completely different. And you can explore any of the cells that you want.
