The previous name for this was a little less than bad, my creativity at its finest.

I didn't mean to insult it. It brings back a lot of memories, and I think it'll make a GREAT item. Can't believe I didn't think of it.
Yeah, I'm currently re-working it so it's the same basic concept as the original, but I'm changing it quite a bit.

Yep, uncontrollable. I'm working on the image in photoshop right now, and from the looks of it it's going to be one of those "Holy mother of fuck I wouldn't want to be attacked by that" images.

just imagine 1,000 of those swarming over a tank…and its supporting infantry.

Well, they're small enough to fit into your bloodstream, so 1000 of them isn't really a threat unless you inhale or eat them, and that's when they go to work. Also, I'm thinking about adding wings. So fear them.

I was thinking actual to like 3x size spiders that work in groups to cover and wreck whatever they are up against, not to much, holy-shit-leave-me-alone-please factor in really tiny things like you cant make out the gruesome details of (my opinion

Don't worry, I've still been working on it bit by bit for a while. It's almost finished. I'm just working on test logs and incident reports, and after that I'll get to the final editing.

94% (See Appendix A) of all instances of the object appear to be microscopic insects/arachnids varying in size from .2 nanometres in width to 1.5 nanometres in width depending on it's predecessors, location, and method of infection.
You still included the nanometers.

And yeah, it used to be a kind of similar article about a massive swarm of robot bugs, but it was deleted because of the low score. I copy+pasted the original into my sandbox and, with a bit of conceptual tinkering and a complete re-do of the article itself, this was born.

Wherever they are, the pain is. I thought that was self explanatory with something eating you alive from the inside and all, but I guess I'll have to try to edit it and make it more clear.

This item has an interesting concept, and in my opinion quite fitting for the CI to utilize. This is written pretty well, and I don't see any issues with the article. If I had to pick nits1 I would say that a stellar origin story or more background information would make this quite a perfect article. For now, I vote to keep as is.
Agent E-dit: Now that I think of it, this concept would be better if the swarm insects are actually bigger, and don't reproduce so fast. It is kind of difficult for the CI to keep track of a few million micro-superfastreproduction insect-bots.
