Interview 01 Subject 1 Dig-site 00B15
Subject 1 is the skull of an adult human male recovered from a mass grave located in Struckhusen Burhafe Germany.
There are no historical records that indicate a graveside in the area. The area has been documented as farmland going back at least 120 years.
The Grave was flagged as anomalous by local police after dating the bodies in the grave to 2016 and matching dental records connected several corpses to still living persons.
One of the skulls was had matching data records with a still active insurgency operative.
By checking the operatives public file the Insurgency was made aware of the proceedings.
The skull was recovered by an allied Group of Interest before it could fall into the hands of some other group.

The interview was conducted using one (1) Ouija Board (standard 2255), one (1) Indicator (standard 2255), four (4) candles sourced locally, one (1) mirror sourced locally and one (1) analog camera (standard 2255).
The mirror is placed behind Vannesa Franks, which sits across from Gertrude Klöß which holds on to the camera. The skull is placed left of Vannesa Franks on the desk. The board is placed so that a person sitting behind the skull could read the letters well. Gerald Hus sits across from the skull. Gertrude Klöß will read aloud the given responses and will not verbally participate otherwise. All four sites of the table have one candle placed in the left corner of the site.

All three humans at the table light their candle to invoke cosmic imbalance. The Fourth candle lights on its own.
Vannesa Franks: Hallo Agent Hus, can you hear me?
Gertrude Klöß: I can hear you. What went wrong? Why am I not whole?
Vannesa Franks: The people on the recovery team only recovered the head. Everything else was left behind.
Gertrude Klöß: Not what I mean. Why am I not him?
The indicator leaves the letters and points at Gerald Hus.
Gerald Hus: According to your dental records you are me. What can you tell me that could prove that?
The indicator returns to the letters.

The data includes insurgency codes that were correct up to December 2015 and Insurgency secrets that Gerald Hus would have known in December of 2015. All subsequent codes were verified false. The data was removed after they were confirmed as valid or invalid after the interview. The skull tried to follow Insurgency protocol to verify that it could not leak information to other paranormal organizations within its limited means of the reanimation ritual.
No further data was removed.
Gertrude Klöß: Did we at least win?
Gerald Hus: What were you hoping to win?
Gertrude Klöß: If you no longer know the war we won.
Gerald Hus: What war do you mean?
Gertrude Klöß: The war of Flesh and Metal against the whispering Storm.
The indicator jitters without stopping on any letter.
Gertrude Klöß: There is something preventing me from speaking clearly.
Gerald Hus: Do you sens any interference?
Vannesa Franks: The spirit is clear but he has sharp edges. He is not one with this universe.
Gertrude Klöß: Alternative dimension, memetic interference, could be the time-lock.
Gerald Hus: What time-lock?
Gertrude Klöß: The war was endless and many lives passed without the year changing.
Gerald Hus: What year was it?
Gertrude Klöß: 2016. It was always 2016. There are causes and effects, but they all were jumbled.
Gerald Hus: How were you involved in the war?
Gertrude Klöß: I served the Chaos Insurgency, I oversaw the breeding pits and coordinated with the Forges.
The candle of the skull flickers.
Vannesa Franks: What ever it is, it guards something. You will have to be less direct, lest we lose connection.
Gerald Hus: What did you breed?
Gertrude Klöß: Human flesh on metal bone, tentacles in brass and flame, foot-soldiers and emergency rations for the front.
Gerald Hus: Who was your enemy?
Gertrude Klöß: In silent space and darkest void a glittering like glass, voices ever whispering, the end of days coming home.
Gerald Hus: Who else was fighting with you?
Gertrude Klöß: Knights of Sugar, Suns encased, snakes of darkness ever feasting, humans of fist and sacrifice.
Gerald Hus: Who was not fighting your enemy?
Gertrude Klöß: The world breakers held their hands. The writers closed their sights. Status Quo did not object.
All 4 candles flicker.
Vannesa Franks: Our time today runs short. One more question and we part.
Gerald Hus: Will we speak again?
The three candles of the living grow bright.
The possible answer are a "yes" or a "no", which is part of the ritual. The answer usually only depends on the willingness of the ghost. A "yes" answer was fully expected.
Gertrude Klöß rises and uses the camera, photographing Gerald Hus, Vannesa Franks and the skull.
Vannesa Franks screams. All four candles burn out.
The last message is read aloud by Vannesa Franks.
Vannesa Franks: It's a date.

Subsequent trials of establishing contact have failed. The skull was released to Gerald Hus in accord with the Multiverse Property Decision of 1968 ("an Insurgent is entitled to possessions of alternative versions of themself if these possessions are in Insurgency custody and the original owner can no longer claim ownership") and the Corps Ownership Clause of the Reanimation Stipulation of 1955 ("If a Insurgent is reanimated they regain ownership of there mortal remains for the duration of the animation after which the ownership passes to the next entitled owner"). Gerald Hus has reported recurring dreams of the war as described during the interview. The dreams were not externally induced and appear ordinary.
Vannesa Franks explained after the interview that she felt the ghosts bony touch which the ritual could not have produced on its own. A full corporeal recreation of Gerald Hus was expected. Vannesa Franks has reported recurring dreams of dates with a skeleton talking in Gerald Hus voice. The dreams were not externally induced and appear ordinary.
