Usage

Primary Use
The item must be used only on targets selected according to the Prisoner Acquisition Protocol. The weapon can only be used to decapitate selected targets, so it is recommended to keep the integrity of the prisoner's head in the best possible condition; other parts of his body can be compromised at the user's discretion, as long as they are not used for amputation.

When it is used for the transport and shipment of prisoners, they must be carried in accordance with the Prisoner Acquisition Protocol around it, specifically the "Surprise Box" Procedure. Secondary Use can only be carried out by order of Delta Command, or in its absence, Central Command.

Secondary Use
The article can be used for the collection and transport of fresh organs, maintaining its integrity for the time necessary to reach its destination, thus creating a high demand in the black market for organs for its better quality of preservation.

Report

The item is kept in an iron safe with a manual latch. The box is monitored with closed electronic surveillance cameras. The item storage room is guarded by two guards with night shift changes. The item should only be taken out of its box for experimentation and use.

The article is a standard machete with a plastic handle and a partially rusted and damaged blade of more than half a meter. Despite its condition, the blade always remains sharp and the blood of any organism does not appear to coagulate when it is on its blade.

When the item is used to amputate any part of a person's body, that part will keep its bodily functions intact, regardless of its size. The loss of blood and the obvious separation of the nervous system from the brain do not influence in any way. The effects appear to hold no matter how far the user's body is from the appendix.

People who have had a limb amputated will still have control over the appendix, as if it had one, although they describe a great deal of pain caused by injury and numbness from blood loss, as well as "phantom pain"1. Cauterizing wounds or having them heal naturally does not interfere with limb control.

It should be mentioned that the pointed limbs that are not preserved in ice will continue to decompose naturally like any amputated limb. The reintegration of lost limbs through surgery is still possible if the limbs are preserved and do not present any side effects.

Appendix

The item was found in the rear storage room of an abandoned farmhouse in โ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆ, Sinaloa. It is believed, due to the amount of coagulated blood and fragments of human bones found, that it was used frequently and its owners were aware of its anomalous qualities. Information collected from the local allied Cartel suggests that the place was used by Los Ocultos Cartel as a safe house and place of interrogations.

Appendix 2: Experimentation

The following table shows the different reactions of the separated body part, after being tested with various test subjects.

Body Parte Reaccion Notes
Hand The hand still reacts with complete mobility. The owner of the hand can control it no matter how far away it is. The hand can grasp objects and can exert pressure and apply the same force as if the hand were on its owner's arm.
Arm The entire arm, including the wrist and hand, remain mobile. The owner of the arm can control it no matter how far away it is. See notes above.
Foot The foot still reacts with complete mobility. The owner of the foot can control it no matter how far away it is. The foot is able to rest on the ground and move as if it were still attached to its owner, moving by jumping.
Leg The entire leg, including the ankle and foot, maintains its mobility. The owner of the leg can control it no matter how far away it is. See notes above.
Hips2 The hips and legs remain mobile no matter how far away you are. If the subject concentrates, they can even run and their speed is equivalent to that of their mass without their torso and not as if it were still on top of them.
โ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆ Maintains mobility regardless of distance and can still โ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆ if stimulated. Possible biological applications in progress.
Various organs3 They maintain their biological functions regardless of distance. Transplantation of the organs to another subject is only possible if the original owner dies, otherwise the organs will reject the host body for unknown reasons, even if they share the same blood type.
Torso4 It maintains its functions if only the arms, hips and legs are removed. If the head is removed the torso stops moving, this includes the expiration of all the organs within it.
Head It maintains all its functions including speaking, eating, smelling, hearing, and seeing. If the cut is worn at the base of the neck this can still develop some mobility. See the Prisoner Acquisition Protocol for more information.

Appendix 3: Prisoner Acquisition Protocol

(1) Procedure Execution

[For civil witnesses or enemy prisoners with important information]
Once the assigned personnel, such as agents, operatives, investigators, etc., have secured the area and the prisoner will use Item# 015 to behead the prisoner. It is recommended that this action be carried out by someone with experience in this area to make a clean cut. A special container should be placed to ensure the integrity of the head when it falls. Then the head will be placed in the ShaDES Special Biological Container5, following the steps dictated in its manual for its indicated use. Once in the container, the personnel in charge will be responsible for taking the subject to its destination assigned by the Central Command for future interrogation.

(2) Procedure "Surprise Box"

[For Person of Interest or Omega Class Humanoids]
Once the PoI is reduced and if circumstances make removal per standard procedure impossible, assigned personnel must use Item# 015 to dismember the PoI. The proportion and disposition must be of seven (7) parts: Arms, legs, lower torso, upper torso and head. The body parts must be placed in the corresponding order in the ShaDES V2 Special Biological Container and if necessary, the special anesthetic included in the container will be used to incapacitate the victim or a dose of the Item#007 in the case of a humanoid, also included in the container. In case the integrity of the extraction is compromised by enemy forces, the personnel must take the container with the PoI inside to a safe area and leave it there for future recovery. This will later be found by the tracking device attached to the container. If the container is discovered before by enemy forces, the remote detonator will be used to activate the Incendiary Explosive inside it to destroy the container and its interior.
